Searing Arrow - Paranoid Fiction

To date, Searing Arrow has primarily been the solo studio project of Houston, TX musician and recording engineer Chris Ryan, with vocal assistance from Denniz Polk. While firmly a post-punk band, the project introduces influences such as Amphetamine Reptile-style noise rock, the art rock of artists like Peter Gabriel (see the "Intruder" cover contained within), and I'd even say some "stoner" rock influence.

Chris is a veteran of numerous Houston punk bands, including but not limited to No Talk, The (Real) Energy, Secret Prostitutes, and God's Temple of Family Deliverance. He also runs Dead City Sound studios, recording virtually every Houston underground record of note over the past decade plus.
