Houston's Alien Eyelid follows up last year's sold-out Bronze Star LP with two new tracks in their full five-piece configuration. The A-side, I Didn't Mean To is an absolute shitkicker that celebrates clumsy love, writing 'fuck' on a wall, and the fire that claimed Manvel, TX's premiere honkytonk, Eddie's Country Ballroom. The flip side, Not Ready Yet, is a lazy morning tune for friends of John Anderson, late career Beachwood Sparks, as well as the band's go-to touchpoints Jerry, Neil, and Bobby (C. or W.).   A Texas tour with Shinglers is planned for February.
